COLLECTION NOTICE

This collection notice outlines how PolyGuru (ABN 44 102 673 932) and its associated entities (PolyGuru) collects and handles your personal information in compliance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (Act). In this collection notice “we”, “our” and “us” refers to PolyGuru. 1.             Why we collect your personal information and how we will use it

We collect and use your personal information for the purpose of carrying out our business of manufacturing extruded thermoplastic sheets and panel systems under the PolyGuru brand. This includes sending you information about our products and services, offers and promotions and communicating changes to our products, services or terms and conditions.

2.             Circumstances where we collect your personal information and you may not be aware

·         Cookies: We use cookies and pixel-tags. These are small files that are transferred to your computer or device through your web browser and enable us to recognise your browser, remember certain information and make your website experience more convenient and effortless. If you don’t want information collected through cookies you can configure your computer so that it disables or rejects them.

·         Google Analytics: We also use Google Analytics to track your use of our website. Google Analytics is a website analytics service provided by Google that places cookies on your computer or device through your web browser. The information generated by the cookies about your use of our website is transmitted to Google. This information is then used for the purpose of compiling statistical reports enabling us to analyse the number of visits to our website, the average time spent on our website and the pages viewed. ·         CCTV cameras and access cards: This may consist of video images of you in public spaces at PolyGuru sites, records of you entering and exiting PolyGuru sites, buildings and office floors. This may also include information collected from identity verification systems used at PolyGuru sites. 

3.             Collection of your personal information from third party sources 

We may collect your personal information from third parties such as Google, LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter if you access PolyGuru services through such sources. We do not warrant that these third party sources have the same level of privacy protection as us, and you should review their privacy policies to ensure compliance with the Act.

4.             Sensitive Information

Some personal information we collect will be more sensitive. For example, we may collect sensitive information through our CCTV cameras. We do not intentionally collect sensitive information through our CCTV cameras and  will not disclose your sensitive information to any other party. By agreeing to this collection notice you are consenting to us collecting, using and disclosing your sensitive information in accordance with this collection notice and our privacy policy on our website at https:// polyguru.au/privacy-poilcy.

5.             Direct Marketing

We use your personal information to send you marketing materials and information about our products and services, offers and promotions. We will not use any sensitive information we collect from you for direct marketing without your prior consent. If you change your mind in the future, you may withdraw your consent to receive direct marketing by clicking on the “opt out” or “unsubscribe” link on emails, or by contacting us at [sales@polyguru.au].

We will not be able to provide you with our full range of products and services. For example, to fulfil an order for products we will require your first name, surname, organisation name, email address, phone numbers, delivery address, billing and payment details and purchase history.

b)    We may store personal information on servers and systems owned or controlled by PolyGuru in the European Union, United Kingdom, Israel and the United States of America.

c)     We may disclose your personal information to cloud-service providers located in the European Union, United Kingdom, Israel and the United States of America.
