SUNPAL® Multi 18mm Diff+ Solar Ice

SUNPAL is an advanced multiwall polycarbonate system that combines smart design, light transmission, high thermal insulation and strength. It offers a lightweight, expansion-free and leak-proof design that withstands very high loads. The system’s many advantages make it ideal for long term installations in various design projects. As an architectural glazing system, SUNPAL is applied in a variety of roofing and cladding uses, in flat or curved designs.

DiffuserPlus™ offers double diffusion which prevents both transmitted and reflected light from excessive glare. 

SolarSmart™ are energy-efficient colours that break the traditional ratio between light transmission and shading coefficient. SolarSmart™ panels block infrared energy that causes heat buildup, and transmit “cool light”, helping to reduce both air-conditioning and lighting costs.

Will I get a tracking number for my delivery?

We use a variety of couriers including our own transport, so it is not always possible to get a tracking number. If you require delivery on a specific day or need to be notified of dates, please contact us once placing your order and our customer service team will do the best to accommodate your requirements.

How quick is delivery?

We aim to deliver to all metro area orders within 5 business days. Regional orders will vary from order to order, and we will be in contact with you regarding delivery dates once your order is processed.

Can I order samples of polycarbonate?

Yes, please email your requirements to sales@polyguru.au or call us on 1800 531 727 to organise.

What is Polycarbonate?

Polycarbonate is a thermoplastic that has the ability to absorb heat, which means it is the preferred option for many greenhouses, as well as being used in homes for its energy efficiency, lightweight nature and overall strength. The main difference between polycarbonate and other sheeting is that polycarbonate can be heated to its melting point, cooled and then recycled, meaning it doesn’t burn like a thermoset plastic would. This makes it a very flexible building material in terms of its overall carbon footprint as it can be melted down and remolded for further use.

Do Polycarbonate sheets discolour?

All our polycarbonate sheets have a minimum 10 year guarantee against discolouration, in case discolouration occurs.

Can I cut this material myself?

Yes, this material can be cut using a fine tooth circular saw or jigsaw. Please take your time when cutting, or we offer an in house cutting service If you would prefer us to cut it for you.

Can Polycarbonate be laser cut?

No, polycarbonate is not a material that can be laser cut due to its class 1 fire rating. It can, however, be cut on a CNC.

Can I drill this material myself?

Yes, the solid and multiwall sheets can both be drilled, please just take your time when doing so.

Do I have to order online?

You can either place an order online or call us on 1800 531 727 to order over the phone.

Do you offer an installation service for my polycarbonate roof?

Unfortunately not at this stage, although our trained sales team can help to guide you with your requirements.

We also have installation guide leaflets online showing which accessories go where.

Where can the PolyGuru store deliver to?

We deliver all over Australia. Once the order has been confirmed and paid for, the delivery time will differ according to the postcode of the delivery address. Please get in contact with us if you have any questions regarding delivery.

What will happen if I’m not at home for my delivery?

Most of our couriers will have your phone number handy to give you a call. However, if they are unable to reach you, they will always try to leave the goods in a safe area.
